Rashed Kazmi launched Mideast Market in Manchester, Missouri 24 years ago with a mission to bring Pakistani, Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine to the St. Louis area. Over the years, he has expanded the initial 600-square-foot space into a 20,000-square-foot store that offers everything from tahini to Turkish candy to baklava to mangos and juices imported from Pakistan. The food featured at Mideast Market is sourced from more than 20 countries. Kazmi is also a primary local supplier of certified Zabiha Halal meat, including goat, lamb, beef and chicken.

We operate two mosques under our umbrella including Daar-ul-Islam in West County and West Pine (our original masjid) downtown.
